2005 Roadshow Tour

In 2005, the Alamo set out on a 6000 mile, 21 day journey, across the west for a series of film screenings that took the movie-going experience to a whole new level. We screened 11 famous films in their original shooting locations, chosen specifically to intensify the viewing experience.

A pass was available for all of the screenings, or you could pick and choose a la carte. This website has updated driving directions, as well as other attractions in the area.

The tour pass got you admission to all of the screenings on the 2005 Roadshow Tour, as well as entry for a team in the Bullitt and Repo Man road rally events. This ticket did not include any lodging, meals (other than mashed potatoes at Close Encounters and a Baby Ruth at Goonies) or transportation.

A limited edition silkscreened poster was created for each of the screenings
We are currently in pre-planning for the 2006 Rolling Roadshow Tour, due to hit the road in mid-summer. Check back here soon for more information and tour dates as the become available.
