Believe it! Every conceivable person, film and creature in the entire TROLL 2 universe will be converging in NILBOG ITSELF (that’s Morgan, Utah for you no-good reality-dwellers, just a quick hop over from Salt Lake City) on June 27th – 29th, 2008 for an unprecedented and never-to-be-repeated onslaught of FILMS, FOOD and GOBLIN FUN from Nilbog and all over the world! This isn’t a convention…it’s 1000% ABSOLUTE TROLL 2 INSANITY!

THE TROLL 2 FAN FILMMAKING FRENZY!!

Are you a filmmaker who’s become infected with the TROLL 2 phenomenon? Can you steal a camcorder and create a masterpiece on par with the great film itself? Well, the makers of BEST WORST MOVIE and the stars of TROLL 2 want to see your fan film! FilmmakingFrenzy.com will be holding a special contest where TROLL 2 obsessives from around the world will be invited to contribute their short films (up to 6 minutes in length) to be screened for the audiences at the Nilbog Invasion!

Details are on their way, but the contest begins on April 15 and runs through May 15. Once the final films are in, they will all be watched by the TROLLCON organizers as well as viewed and rated by the public at large! There will be several screenings through the TROLLCON weekend! Top prizes will be awarded at TROLLCON by George “Farmer Waits” Hardy, Michael “Joshua” Stephenson and other cast members of TROLL 2!

Tickets are available in advance or before each screening! We'll be enjoying TROLL 2, TROLL and THE CRAWLERS under the stars in glorious 35mm on our gorgeous larger-than-drive-in sized screen! Just bring along a blanket or folding chair and take in the most entertaining and bizarre cinematic experiences in Utah's history!

SCHEDULE FOR NILBOG INVASION DAY 3: SUNDAY, JUNE 29, 2008:

12:30 – COSTUME COMPETITION - Not all goblins are in disguise! So creatures, throw away your human form and attend NILBOG INVASION the way you were meant to be! Prizes and OFFICIAL TROLL COSTUMES will be awarded to the best dressed goblins, and dressing like Creedence, Sheriff Gene Freak or the Waits Family is every bit as magical. Show everyone how to really step out on the town…Nilbog-style!

1:00 – BEST WORST MOVIE PANEL - The makers of the ultimate TROLL 2 documentary BEST WORST MOVIE (who also happen to include T2 cast members Michael Stephenson and George Hardy!) will talk about their globe-spanning adventures in exposing the TROLL 2 infection, and let us in on the super-tight-lipped inside scoop on the movie that will cover all major TROLL 2 fans...including YOU!

3:00 – DOUBLE-DECKER BALONEY SANDWICH INTERNATIONAL EAT-OFF - Look…if you want to keep evil goblins from devouring the entire human race, you’ve gotta start chowing down on some serious baloney...AND FAST! We’re gonna have six volunteers (including one lucky cast member!) on stage to devour a WORLD RECORD SETTING amount of double-decker baloney sandwiches while saving mankind from the goblin threat!!!

3:30 – AWARDS CEREMONIES - Special awards will be given to the Top 3 TROLL 2 FILMMAKING FRENZY winners. But that's not all! The Best Costume prizes will follow, and I guarantee that these prozes are so amazing, the winners will melt into puddles of delicious green goo!

4:00 – MOLOTOV COCKTAIL TOSS - Why not end our vacation in Nilbog with a serious bang? We're gonna take a tip from Grampa Seth's friend in hell and battle to earn the gold medal in this probably-illegal Molotov Cocktail Toss! Competitors will wow the audience with a two-fisted display of flame-blasting prowess!
