The premise: we play a clip from one of your favorite movies on the screen behind you, and you act it outonstage with the subtitles provided on the monitor in front of you. What you do from there is up to you.

Some people get on stage and channel the professional actor within or do a spot on impression of the character on the screen. Others take the microphone and write their own original dialogue to the scene, which can either be really funny or really painful. And sometimes people just replace the real voices of the characters with their own silly grunts. The key is to jump into your performance 110%, and as long as you don’t hold back, the audience will happily go along for the ride with you.

We run our Videoke like a bastard step-child of AMERICAN IDOL, too, with judges and a final round, and a winner every night who goes home with fabulous prizes. Admission is a paltry $2.25, so you should really come out and check it out. Trust me, it’s a blast.

Videoke tickets are not currently available in advance. Tickets are charged to audience members at their seats and admission is first come, first served. To guarantee a good seat with all your friends, we recommend arriving at the theater by 11:30 and hanging out in line while planning out your first scene...
