Right out of the gates, George Clooney's Mr. Fox became the paragon of the modern Father figure: ambitious, loving, open, sensitive, but ultimately willing to do whatever he needs to ensure the survival of his family...literally. It may have been billed as a kids' movie, but Wes Anderson's adaptation of Roald Dahl's book is one of the most complex (and hysterical) takes on the Father-Son relationship in recent history. The movie alone is pure entertainment. Angry farmers, tired of sharing their chickens with a sly fox, look to get rid of their opponent Mr. Fox and his family. This stop-motion animal comedy features voice work from George Clooney, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Owen Wilson and several more of Anderson's best-loved actors.

This Father's Day, raise your glass (or juice box) to survival, and to Fathers everywhere.
