This April, for a limited-run, Master Pancake tackles everyone's favorite tale of cheerleading intrigue: BRING IT ON (2000). Featuring Kirsten Dunst as Torrence Shipman, a tortured cheer-artist, struggling with issues of originality and artistic integrity. Gabrielle Union co-stars as Isis, the oppressed cheerleader from across the tracks whose routines are full of the soulful ethnicity and street-savvy with which Torrence so desperately wishes to infuse her own work. How this epic struggle ends has to be seen to be believed. Not since Salieri and Mozart in AMADEUS has there been an artistic battle this monumental. Also, Master Pancake gets to wear skirts in the skit. Come out this April and watch as we flip off BRING IT ON. (John)
