Each year around this time, we roll out a new volume of Super Happy Fun Monkey Bash, a 90 minute compilation of mind-boggling insanity from Japanese television. You'll see A-list American celebrities pimping themselves out for cheap Japanese products, bawdy situation comedies, extreme pro-wrestling, bizarre anti-flatulence products, nonsensical English phrases, supreme goofiness, and lots and lots of foam rubber costumes! This year's primary focus will be on the multi-faceted career of the hardest working man in Japanese television: Takeshi Kitano. Even today, Takeshi is in continuous production of up to nine TV programs, all this on top of his robust feature film career. For the 2010 edition of Monkey Bash, we'll be digging back to the early '80s Take-chan Man vs Black Devil Jr. episodes all the way up to his modern torture and humiliation variety game shows.

As with past editions of Super Happy Fun Monkey Bash we'll feature prizes and giveaways at every show. Check back here closer to the event for teaser clips from this year's show as well as trailers from current and past Monkey Bash compilations.
