Austin independent film comedy, 'Power Trip', tells the story of college student and aspiring comic book artist Doug McMullen.

Down on his luck, he drives out to the middle of nowhere to burn his ex-girlfriend's memento items. All of a sudden an alien meteorite crash lands with Doug, in his drunken state, barely dodging it. After passing out on top of the meteorite for the night he takes it home with him the next day but slowly realizes he's developing peculiar powers. From then on the formula for Doug is simple, sleep with the meteorite, develop a new superpower for the next day. But will having superpowers help Doug attain his comic book dreams, or will trying to be a college super hero prove much harder then he could've ever imagined?

Join Doug and his friends on a wild and hilarious ride in 'Power Trip', locally shot and directed by University of Texas film school grads John Handem Piette and Vincent DiDaniele. Starring Mike McCutchen, Freddy Scott, Jesse Moorefield and Alexandra Nakagawa.
