We are very happy to bring back to the Alamo a very old tradition: the silent film accompanied by live score. This time we are honored to welcome one of our favorite Austin groups The Calm Blue Sea. Austin Sound calls them "a stormy instrumental joyride that sails from atmospheric rock to a tidal wave of instrumentation that washes over you and leaves you breathless." Their range makes them a perfect fit for Lang's DIE NIBELUNGEN: SIEGFRIED, which ranges in scope between the hellishly intense defeat and death of a Dragon to more quiet emotional moments. It's a massive film and we can't wait to hear what these talented musicians can do with this canvas.
