A guitar (and soul) shredding documentary that follows Iraqi metal band
Acrassicauda from the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003 to the present day.
Rockin' for Satan in the Muslim world has always been a difficult (if not impossible)
proposition but after Saddam's regime toppled, there was a brief moment where
an Iraqi Metal Empire loomed. That hope was quickly dashed as the country fell into
a bloody insurgency. From '03-'06, Iraq disintegrated around these guitarrorists
while the band struggled to stay together (and alive), always refusing to let their
heavy metal dreams die. Their story echoes the unspoken hopes of an entire
generation of not just Iraqis, but diehard headbangers across the galaxy!
Kid Policy: 21 and up. No one under 21 admitted.
