But no murderous icon of holiday joy can compare to the leading men of the SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT series. Maverick filmmaker Hellman was courageous enough to try his hand at the only horror franchise powerful enough to traumatize children with its box art alone. The result is a particularly pathological foray into Santanic savagery starring terror icon Bill Moseley. That’s him on the left, and you’ll note that those aren’t visions of sugarplums dancing in his head. So sit back with us and legendary director Hellman and let your happy memories of the Christmas season be mangled into unrecognizable heaps of shrieking agony. (Zack) Hellman’s classic films THE SHOOTING and TWO LANE BLACKTOP will screen earlier in the evening.
