FILMMAKER IN ATTENDANCE!

Before Starbucks...before "downtown living"...Austin truly made its reputation as the Live Music Capital of the World. It's fallen off a bit now, but during the full flourish of Austin's musical relevance, a man named Kevin Roberts was right there, with a couple of cameras, documenting the music going on around town. For this very special Music Monday we will dip into Kevin's archives to present mind-melting performances from the 80's and early '90s featuring Sonic Youth, Mudhoney, Jesus Lizard (at the top of their devastating form), Crust, Ed Hall and more. It will also give old-timers the opportunity to relive Liberty Lunch, The Cannibal Club and - yes - The Ritz as it once was. Have a beer with us and enjoy this trip down memory lane.

Sponsored in part by Austin's most adventurous record store END OF AN EAR!
