The APPLESEED saga has quickly (and rightfully) become among the most popular in anime history. This latest installment is itself a huge leap forward in every respect, and set to take the medium to an even higher level. The story concerns a utopian future city called Olympus, in which humans peacefully co-exist with cyborgs and bio-roids until a series of events threaten to tear apart a suddenly fragile society.

APPLESEED: EX MACHINA is a complex and very human story of robotic war and anguish. Produced by the great John Woo, this is truly a sci-fi epic of the most incredible magnitude.
