"David Drayton and his young son Billy are among a large group of terrified townspeople trapped in a local grocery store by a strange, otherworldly mist. David is the first to realize that there are things lurking in the mist... deadly, horrifying things... creatures not of this world. Survival depends on everybody in the store pulling together... but is that possible, given human nature? As reason crumbles in the face of fear and panic, David begins to wonder what terrifies him more: the monsters in the mist- or the ones inside the store, the human kind, the people that until now had been his friends and neighbors? Now it goes without saying that this is one of the most eagerly awaited horror/sci-fi/action films of the year. But what you may not have anticipated is a major sneak screening event where you can indulge in a tendrilicious dining experience with the creator of not only this film, but modern favorites like SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and THE GREEN MILE.

When Ain't It Cool News brought this show to us, it came with the request that we have lead Alamo Downtown superchef Trish Eichelberger create an accompanying special dinner...a sumptuous series of unprecedented dishes that follow the film's creepy-crawlier themes. Rest assured: this will be the singular horror screening event of the year, and a unique experience in both viewing and dining!
