Weird Wednesday: KUNG FU HALLOWEEN
Rated R; 90min; Director:Hau Cheng
Location: Alamo South Lamar
What the hell is KUNG FU HALLOWEEN? I'd like to tell you all about it but since it's a totally unknown commodity it would all be conjecture. So instead of wasting time wondering what it is, let's just visualize what it should be. I'm thinking Draculas versus Werewolves and the Draculas have special Ninja throwing stars with a ruby encrusted Family Crest Of The Draculas in the center. The Draculas also have these awesome gold daggers shaped like fangs. But the werewolves are incredible breakdancing masters of the nunchakas, and instead of going Hi-ya! they howl at the moon. There's a big musical number where the werewolves and the Draculas taunt each other with their Incredible Skills. At the end the Draculas and Werewolves team up to beat the Mummy and the Creature From The Black Lagoon - who ride laser-equipped motorbikes and take their orders from unbilled guest star John Carradine as Adolf Hitler!
