The fanboy event of the summer is here!

At the Alamo, we can't just let you watch the movie! We have America's original one-and-only real life Transformer, ROBOSAURUS, a fire-breathing, 60 ft. metal-clad, car-eating machine performing before Michael Bay's powerhouse cinematic interpretation of the Transformers. The show is rain or shine. In the case of rain, there will be no umbrellas allowed at the Robosaurus show, so if the weather takes a turn towards wet, bring your rain coat!

We have over 1600 people coming to see two shows at the Alamo South Lamar. Read this email carefully so you don’t miss out on the fun and enjoy the show!

IF YOU HAVE 7PM TICKETS:
You’re watching the Transformers movie at 7pm. Most auditoriums will be seating an hour in advance. COME EARLY IF YOU WANT A GOOD SEAT! The movie lets out at 9:34 at which time we’ll have about 20 minutes to get from the movie theater out to the parking lot for a Robosaurus show at 10pm.

IF YOU HAVE 8:45PM TICKETS:
This group will watch the Robosaurus show outside the theater promptly at 8:45. We’ll begin seating the parking lot “stadium” at 8pm. After the Robosaurus show we will line up outside the theater. Once the auditoriums are ready, we’ll begin seating for the transformers movie, which should start around 10:20 or 10:30.

ADMISSIONS AND CHECK-IN:
Early check in begins at 1pm in the lobby of the Lamar theater. Theater assignments are distributed on a first come first served basis. All patrons get an armband and a theater ticket. Your armband gets you into the “stadium” and your ticket gets you into the theater.

VIP TICKET HOLDERS:
Your posters can be picked up at the new Mondo Tees location in the Alamo South Lamar lobby, starting Monday evening. We’ll have your name on a list and you can pick up the posters during normal Mondo Tees business hours. You will be watching the movie in theater 2 and will have your choice of seats before the general admission ticket holders are seated.

OUTDOOR CONCESSIONS:
Concessions in the parking lot stadium are CASH ONLY. We’ll have beer, soda and water available. There are no outside food and beverages allowed in the theaters or in the parking lot stadium.

PARKING AND TOWING INFO:
A 60 foot tall metal clad dinosaur requires a fair amount of room to move about! Parking will be extremely limited. Please consider carpooling, bikes or walking. All (limited) Alamo parking will be in the back of the theater. Do not park in front of the neighboring businesses or you will be towed!

RAIN OR SHINE - NO UMBRELLAS - NO REFUNDS DUE TO WEATHER



Prices are $25 for regular admission (includes a seat in the Robosaurus Arena and admission to the July 2 Transformers show). We also have a limited number of VIP tickets available for $75 (includes a front-row seat in the Robosaurus arena, a limited-edition, hand-silk-screened Ultimate Transformers Experience poster, a reserved seat in the biggest theater of Alamo South Lamar to the July 2 Transformers show, and free popcorn and sodas during the film).
