UPDATE: The glory of Air Sex will be performed by the world's greatest champions on the stage of the historic Paramount Theater on September 18, 2008. The event is the official after-party of the opening night film of Fantastic Fest, Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Tickets include both the film and the competition and are available at the paramount box office or online at Gettix.

If you've been to any of the Air Guitar shows, you know a little bit about what to expect, except that competitors in this show won't pretend to play an instrument that isn't there; they'll be pretending to make love with a partner that isn't there.

Do you think you've got what it takes to compete? Our judges will be watching for the entire presentation, from costuming, to foreplay, to an eventual climax. They'll be looking for believability, sexability, and overall entertainment value (cause what fun is sex if no one's watching?), and if you can score high enough, you'll move onto the final round and be one step closer to being crowned the Air Sex King or Queen of Austin.

With that title under your belt, Real Sex is sure to be easy to get!

The Rules:
Time: Contestants have a maximum of 2 minutes to perform an air sex routine. This can include all phases of an air sex encounter: meeting, seduction, foreplay and intercourse, or you can simply cut to the chase.

Music: Competitors must perform to music, you can either bring a CD of your performance track with you, or you can choose from our selection of air sex music. You may also include an audio prelude to your performance, maximum of 30 seconds.

Other Rules: Unlike air guitar, there are not many other rules. Props are allowed, teams are allowed, talking is allowed. The only important rule is that all sexual climaxes must be simulated, not real.
