This was originally scheduled to play in the last calendar, and was bumped to make room for the amazing Quentin Tarantino triple-feature events...but all the better to play it for Fathers Day! Jerry Blake is a hard-working American, a loving father and a ruthless psychopath. His simple dream is to have a perfect family, and whenever one doesn't meet his expectations, he butchers them, changes his identity and shacks up with a new single mom. A simple but original slasher premise is elevated to blood-boiling nightmare level by Terry O'Quinn's schizophrenic-in-the-red performance. Those of you who've graduated past the '90s (why?) will recognize him from the TV series LOST, but the relentless psychomania on display in THE STEPFATHER will ensure that you never trust him or any adult male ever again.
